  Tokio Hotel is a sensational german band from Magdeburg from year 2005. Their first single "Durch den Monsun" ["Trough the Monsoon"], described precisely the flood what was happening in Germany and Central Europe. But still the four young men were unkown before the summer vacation, but with beginning of the schoolyear in 2005, rose their first singel to #1 in Germany. Tokio Hotel has the youngest members that have made it this far. Their first video was shown on tv in July 2005 and since then they have won hearts of teenages all over the world.

  The twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz have preformed since the age of nine. In the year 2001, after one of their little concerts in their hometown Magdeburg, the Kaulitz twins met Gustav Schäfer and Georg Listing. Their common music-taste lead the boys to the creation of the band, originally called Devilish. In the year 2004 they altered the band name to Tokio Hotel. After that they started working in Hamburg studios with producers and song-writers (Patrick Benzer, Dave Roth, David Jost). On 19th of September appeared their 12-song album "Schrei" from Universal Music Germany. The album "Schrei" was nr.2 on the second week of the album sale and on the 6th of October the boys won two Germany Comet Awards. The sweetest was the main prize Super Comet and the other one was for the best newcomer

  The maxi-single "Schrei" appeared on the 25th of November 2005 and December 2nd came out the DVD "Leb die Sekunde". The single again won the first place on the second week of the album sale in Germany 2006, after that boys have won awards all over Europe.

  The third single "Rette Mich" came out on 10th of March 2006. By the 31st of March it was #1 in Germany. At the end of April Tokio Hotel was staying in UK, learing English and recording their songs into English versions.

  On 3rd of July appeared a single with two songs, named "Der letzte Tag". It became another hit and ofcourse it was #1 in their homecountry. The bonus-song was "Wir Schliessen Uns Ein".

  Getting free from their long contcert-tour, the band finally found time to record their new album. On 23rd of February they presented their new album called "Zimmer483". The first singel from their new album was "Übers Ende der Welt", video of which had a first appearance on a TV- show VIVA Live on 8th of January. The single was available from 5th of February. The new album had 12 songs. The second single was "Spring Nicht", released on 7th of April and it came out in two cd’s.

  The band won two Echo awards with video "Der letzte Tag" in March 2007. With the same video they also won some Comet awards in May aswell as the best group prize.

  The english album "Scream" came out on 4th of June 2007. The video of “Scream” was added to the official homepage on May 2nd 2007. There’s also a new and more widely known video from the album now, “Monsoon”.

  The last tour, "Zimmer483", has ended for now. Tokio Hotel is staying a lot of time outside of Germany to promote theirselves out there - in the world.
